Robert Puffer, 65,

of Addison

 died unexpectedly  Monday (February 13, 2012) at his home.

Born in Hartsville, he had resided in Canisteo for several years and was a graduate of Canisteo Central School.

The U.S. Marine Corps veteran, who served during the Vietnam conflict,  is survived by his daughters, Maxine Glazer, of Maryland and Angel Hoffman, of Hornell; his brothers:  Marion Puffer, of Addison, Monroe Puffer, of Hornell and James Puffer, of Corning; also 2 step-children plus 6 grand and step grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friend, John Michael Herbert. 

The family will receive friends at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce Street, Canisteo on Friday 6-8PM, where funeral services will follow calling hours at 8pm.
