Kenneth E. Bixby, 92,

of West Main Street, Canisteo

passed away Thursday (January 26, 2012) at his home following a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife, Lida, to whom he was married for 64 years. Also, two sons: Michael and Larry; one daughter: Susan Cole; 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; his sister: Eleanor Wakefield; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday (January 29, 2012) from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 29 East Main Street, Canisteo, where funeral and committal services with military honors will take place Monday at 11AM.
