Dodgers and Power Split a Pair at Sal Maglie on Friday

Dodgers won the opener 4-0 while the Power scored a run in the 6th for a 3-2 win in the nightcap.

Chandler Knox (Presbyterian) tossed a complete game three hitter in the opener to earn his 3rd win of the summer. He walked two and struck out three.

Omar Garcia (Texas A&M Corpus Christi) was 3 for 4 with a RBI while JP Frey (Alfred State) was 2 for 4 with a two-run single in the 4th. Chase Presley (Harding) added two hits in three at bats.

Ryan Williams tied the game with a RBI single in the 4th and won the game in the 6th with a two-out RBI single to break a 2-2. Williams finished with two of the Powers three hits.

Cameron Walker (Harding) was the tough luck loser. He allowed three hits and two earned runs in 5.2 innings. He walked two and struck out two. Frey was the lone Dodger with multiple hits finishing 2 for 3 with a RBI.

The Dodgers (17-12) are now tied with the Geneva Red Wings (16-11) in the Western Division standings. Hornell completes a three-game series with the Power on Saturday at 7 p.m.
