ASSEMBLYMAN NOJAY INVITES VOTERS TO 2nd AMMENDMENT RALLY IN ALBANY
February 7, 2013
ALBANY, NY - Assemblyman Bill Nojay (R,I-Pittsford) is inviting people to join him at a rally in Albany, which is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 28.
Nojay says that all participants will be given a flyer with a directory to their representative’s office. At 12:00 p.m. on the 28th, the rally will begin on the steps of the Capitol on the South Swan Street side.
“The purpose of this rally is to protect the Second Amendment. When Governor Cuomo pushed through the gun control law in the middle of the night, he showed he has no interest in hearing the will of the people,” said Nojay. “He knew that this would be incredibly unpopular, which has been confirmed by the 15 point drop in his approval rating. We are going to give the gun control law the scrutiny it should have received before it was forced through the legislature.”
