With Or Without Federal PTC - Wind May Happen With Albany Funding

ALBANY, NY - If Washington does not extend the Federal Production Tax Credit before the December 31 deadline, it appears that Albany is going to help anyway.
New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo announced yestserday, that $250 million is available for renewable energy projects, including wind.
The money is being administered by NYSERDA, through the state’s Renewable Portfolio Standard.
It will be announced in the summer what projects are going to receive funding.
