Public Hearing Today on County Budget

Legislature to vote on the budget later tonight
November 26, 2012
The Steuben County Legislature will hold a public hearing at 6pm tonight on the proposed budget for next year.
The 2013 budget, at $187-million, carries a tax levy of $48 million and a proposed tax increase of 2.9 percent.
Legislators will vote on the budget following the public hearing.
