Several Local Red Cross Workers Go Downstate To Assist In Sandy Aftermath

October 31, 2012 —The Finger Lakes NY Region of the American Red Cross are reporting that they have sent off over two dozen volunteers to White Plains, NY today. Officials from the Red Cross says that from White Plains, the volunteers will receive their assignments and move into the regions most affected by Hurricane Sandy, specifically Long Island, Metro NYC and the five boroughs.
