An Amish farmhouse is destroyed
A fire Monday morning has destroyed a home in the Town of Wheeler.
According to reports, the fire occurred at an Amish farmhouse, and was called in by a logger who saw smoke coming from the house. The logger located a woman and two children at the home and drove them to a neighboring home.
Firefighters say they had the fire under control in an hour, but the home was a total loss.
There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
