Snowden Owned Strip Club Raided in Suburban Buffalo

Drug ring alleged but Snowden denies all knowledge and is not charged

Hornell native Richard Snowden, who now a resident of Buffalo, owns a strip joint near the Buffalo airport known as Rick’s Tally-Ho and that club was raided early Tuesday by the FBI and eight persons arrested including Jay Vellon who is accused of leading a drug ring, possessing firearms and supplying narcotics to employees of the Snowden owned club.

The BUFFALO NEWS reports that seven females and a manager at the club were involved in drug trafficking.  Snowden was not charged and his name does not appear on the federal complaint filed in federal court.

Snowden’s club was one of two raided by the FBI and a total of 28 persons were placed under arrest. Both locations were centers of activity for a ring of heroin and cocaine dealers, according to court papers.

Snowden spoke with a news reporter Tuesday and said he was “ sick about it," adding "I've done nothing wrong. I have professional attorneys around me, and they tell me I should have no further comment
