30 year old Wayland man accused of sending lewd photo of himself to 15 year old girl in Livingston County

LIVINGSTON COUNTY INVESTIGATOR WARNS THE YOUTH AND THEIR PARENTS: DON'T SEND NAKED TEXT PHOTOS...

A Steuben County man is accused of texting inappropriate messages and photos to a 15 year old girl in Livingston County.  According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, a 30 year old Wayland man was charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor.   It's alleged that the man sent a lewd picture of himself to the girl. 

The investigator who made the arrest, has this warning for parents and children about texting:

"I would warn kids don't send pictures of yourself to ANYONE.  You know, you truly don't know whose at the other end of that phone...where those pictures could end up...what impact that could have on your life years from now...and for the parents I would tell them: pay attention to what their kids are doing...technology is a wonderful thing, more and more in this day and age, kids are getting into big trouble, and dangerous situations, based on text messaging and emails and sending photos like this," said the investigator.
