Complications Pile On

New York State Governor David Paterson has announced he is not going to run for governor again, and Assemblyman Jim Baccalles is wondering how the current situation at the state capital in Albany will affect the budget process.  "Now we're going to wait and see if this is going to create a battle between the governor and the legislature, he's probably viewing us as the enemy, he has for the last year, so we'll see how this exacerbates or helps the budget process," Baccalles told reporter Brian O'Neil this weekend.

"It does complicate issues, because we don't know how everything is going to play out," the Republican lawmaker said about Paterson's announcement that he's not going to seek re-election as governor of New York State.
