But not the bill approved by the Senate

Congressman Eric Massa(D) of the 29th congressional district says the health reform bill passed by the Senate will have trouble getting approved by the House of Representatives.  Massa, who voted against the House measure in late 2009, says he could not support the Senate bill if it is sent to the House for approval.

He did predict that some reform measures will pass individually such as being able to sell health insurance across state lines which has already passed in the House.  He says he personally supports nine separate measures.

The future of the health care bill is uncertain with even Democrats in both the House and the Senate uncomfortable with the overwhelming unpopularity of the bills approved earlier
