Nearly a foot of snow is possible

Rob Carolan in the WLEA/WCKR Weather Center is predicting a major storm for our area.  Snow expected all day Thursday, possibly heavy at times, especially during the evening. Total snow accumulation is expected to be 7 to 11 inches.  

Occasional snow showers also expected on Friday and Saturday that could add another 1-3 inches.

The storm will be worse in other areas but unlike some of the earlier storms this season which we missed, this time, says Carolan, get ready for tough driving and lots of shoveling.
