suspect believed to have been found in PA

Steuben County Sheriff Joel Ordway tells our news department that the wanted man who is accused of taking a deputy on a chase from Woodhull to a nearby Pennsylvania town, has been located in the state of Pennsylvania.  Sheriff Ordway told reporter Brian O'Neil that at this point, the charges against the suspect are not enough to bring the suspect back to New York State from Pennsylvania.

The manhunt began in Woodhull on County Route 101, when a man who was pulled over for allegedly speeding, struck a deputy and then fled in his vehicle.  The man who officials describe as the suspect is also said to have brandished a handgun at the sheriff's department during the vehicle chase.  The suspect is then accused of throwing the handgun out the window into a roadside wooded area.
