P&C Will Close in Hornell

Store will close on March 20th

Hornell Mayor Shawn Hogan tells our news department that P&C Market in Hornell will be closing on March 20.  Hogan heard from a corporate official this morning, and during the conversation the mayor was informed of the grocery store's upcoming closing date.

Hogan says it's a priority for him to get another store in that Park Drive location as soon as possible.  "That's a very attractive site for either another chain grocery store or an independent grocery store, and the city will do everything we can within our power, and I know that the I.D.A. will also offer any incentives possible to any new potential tenant." 

Hogan also says that the owner of the grocery store plaza says that he is optimistic that the location will be filled with another grocery store as soon as possible.
