Three from Hornell and one from Angelica charged

Hornell police have made four arrests in connection with graffiti in Hornell earlier this month. The case involved red spray paint graffiti that was discovered on several city buildings.

Charged with 15 counts each of criminal mischief and making graffiti, as well as possession of graffiti instruments, are Matthew Cummings, 18, Calvin Haynes, 17, and a 15 year old, all from Hornell, and Justin Mead, 22, of Angelica.

Police say the Jewish Temple on Church Street, along with other buildings in the Church Street and Main Street area, including the Lang Agency, were found to have been splashed with red spray paint graffiti.
