MANHUNT
suspect accused of hitting deputy and threatening that deputy with a handgun
The Steuben County Sheriff's Department reports that there is a manhunt going on in the Pennsylvania area. According to the sheriff's office, the manhunt began in Woodhull on County Route 101, when a man who was pulled over for allegedly speeding, struck a deputy and then fled in his vehicle. The man who officials describe as the suspect is also said to have brandished a handgun at the sheriff's department, and then thrown that handgun out the window of the vehicle during the chase from Woodhull to Osceola Pennsylvania, into a roadside wooded area.
The vehicle that officials are looking for is a purple, 1990's Ford Ranger pick-up, operated by a white male with a greyish goatee. The deputy involved in the chase also reports that there was a white male passenger in the vehicle, along with the driver.
