Two Jamestown men now in jail

State Police in Jamestown observed a vehicle with a registration violation. When the vehicle stopped at a gas station, the trooper approached the operator and observed a strong odor of marijuana. While interviewing the driver and his passenger, the passenger admitted that he had recently smoked marijuana.

A free air sniff by the trooper's K-9 led to an alert at the trunk. An inspection of the trunk revealed a plastic bag containing approximately 3 pounds of marijuana.

Gary Green, 35, and Raymond Taylor, 37, both of Jamestown, were each charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana.

They were both arraigned committed to the Chautauqua County Jail with No Bail.
