Jail Visitor Now Jailed
Accused of having drugs in her possession
A woman from the Bronx was arrested during a visitation at Groveland Correctional Facility, and now she's in jail.
State Police have accused Brenda Madera, 38, of bringing drugs into the Groveland facility. She allegedly had heroin and marijuana in her possession.
Madera is charged with Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug with the Intent to Sell, Promoting Prison Contraband and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
She was arraigned and remanded to Livingston County Jail in lieu of $5000 bail.
