Future of school still not certain

At weekend Masses, Father Peter Angalaare, pastor of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, announced that a special committee set up to raise money to keep St. Ann's School has raised over $132,000 in cash and pledges.  The goal set by the Diocese of Rochester to keep the school open next year was $120,000.

Now, the Parish Council and the parish finance committee will discuss the next step in the process at a meeting Wednesday night, according to Father Angalaare.
