Accused of fraudulently obtaining unemployment benefits

A Livingston County man faces charges of grand larceny, falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing. State Police say Joshua Ryan, 22, of Piffard, is accused of receiving over $6,000 in unemployment benefits by filing false claims. 

Ryan was arraigned and remanded to Livingston County Jail in lieu of $6000 bail.
