SPARTA, NY - Sheriff John York is reporting that four male suspects were
arrested today after a lengthy investigation into recent thefts in Sparta,
Springwater, Groveland and West Sparta, as well as others in the Town of
Wayland.
Arrested were Jimmie J. Lane, 22, Michael D. Pragle, 24 , Justin M. Buzard, 20
and Shawn E. Roney, 18. All were current residents of Wayland, NY.
The suspects were charged with burglary in the third degree.  Sheriff York says
that a safe, jewelry and an ATV were among items taken.
The investigation will continue after today with additional charges very likely.
