Alleged Trooper Shooter Back in Court

Accused of trying to contact one of his victims

Richard Vangordon, 38, of Addison, who was accused of shooting at state police
during a high speed chase in Hornellsville in September, was back in court
Wednesday on a separate charge.
According to reports, Vangordon pleaded not guilty to a charge of criminal
contempt.  He was accused of violating an order of protection by attempting to
contact a victim in his attempted murder case.
Vangorden remains in Steuben County Jail on five thousand dollars bail.
