2009 REPORT

Again this year, we have had no openings on our staff---a staff which has remained constant for many years.

However, we stay in contact with colleges in our area which offer communications courses. These include:  State University at Buffalo, Geneseo and Alfred as well as Alfred University and Syracuse University. 

In addition, any openings that might occur are posted with the New York State Broadcasters.

Once more, Mr. Doran has attempted to encourage a young African-American he met at the railroad terminal in Albany and have told him that should any full-time positions develop, he will be called.  The young man has an exceptional voice and delivery and works as the public address announcer at the AMTRACK terminal in Albany.
