Feb. 2007  EEO REPORT

In the past year, there have been no openings full full-time jobs at WLEA/WCKR.   This report is for WLEA-AM (facility id 5284) and WCKR-FM (facility id 5284) combined.  The total number of full-time employees is 5 and the total number of part-time employees is 5.

Our full-time employees range in years of service from 4 to going on 50 with others here for over 10 years and another about 30. We seldom have openings.

PMJ COMMUNICATIONS (WLEA-AM and WCKR-FM) did follow the EEO directives in advertising that we are EEO employers and are open to any and all applications for future possible openings.

In addition, we contacted the area colleges and made known to them our EEO commitments and asked that anyone interested in a possible opening in the future contact us.  We had no applications of any kind in this period.

We also welcome any and all tours of the stations by boy/girl scout groups as well as school children.  In the past year, we have had at least two such tours.  We also make staff members available for high school appearances in classes or schools which request someone from our staff. This year, we had one such request from a class at Hornell High School and Casey Cameron, salesman and sports announcer attended.

Among the colleges contacted:

Alfred University, Alfred NY

State University of Alfred, Alfred, NY

State University at Geneseo, NY
State University at Buffalo, NY

WLEA-AM and WCKR-FM have also aired EEO type announcements on both stations. Any and all openings will be posted on our website: wwwlea.net/wckr.com with the usual EEO liner indicating our desire to be an equal opportunity employer.

This reported was prepared by Kevin P. Doran, GM
